Working with Julie Darty Dennis, our student-athletes, and staff at Mississippi State University will always be a highlight of my career. I am grateful for their support to pursue this opportunity.”
“Wright State is a special place and during this process it was clear that people matter,” Green added. “My family and I are looking forward to becoming part of the community and department. I am excited to get started with a talented, gritty, competitive group of student athletes. Together we will work on continuing to build the success of Wright State Volleyball. Go Raiders!”
Wright State finished 23-8 last season. It reached the NCAA tournament for the first time in 2019 and won a tournament game for the first time in 2020.
At Mississippi State last season, Green was part of a team that finished 25-6 and reached the NCAA tournament. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant coach at South Florida and Florida International.
Green is a native of Orlando, Fla., who graduated from Florida State in 2008.
