About Wright State: The Raiders are 11th in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25. They’re 110 in the NET rankings, easily the best in the Horizon League. Northern Kentucky is next at 169, while everyone else is 227 or worse. …Gentry is shooting 87.3 percent from the foul line for his career — 26 of 28 this season, 83 of 92 last year, 35 of 43 as a sophomore and 7 of 10 as a freshman at South Dakota State — and is currently second on the all-time list. Jesse Deister (2000-02) holds the record at 89.0. … Love has 1,136 career points, which is 31st in program history. Next up is Bill Wilson (1976-80) at 1,040. … While the Detroit comeback last weekend was dramatic, the Raiders overcame two other late deficits to keep their momentum going. They were down five with five minutes to go against visiting Green Bay and won, 90-84, and they scored the last three points in the final 1:15 in a 76-74 win over Western Kentucky at home. “When you have good seasons, you win those games even when you don’t play well,” Nagy said.
About IUPUI: The Jaguars had a tumultuous offseason when fifth-year coach Jason Gardner was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and resigned. … They also were dealt a blow when Camron Justice, an all-league guard, left as a grad transfer to play for Western Kentucky. … They were picked to finish ninth in the league. … Minnett was the conference’s sixth man of the year in 2018-19. … Williams, who averaged 15.5 points and 10 rebounds for Dayton Stivers in 2015-16, enrolled at Akron, transferred after one year to Liberty and then spent last season at Pensacola (Fla.) State College. … The Jaguars, who opened league play with three close losses, are coming off a 93-78 win at Green Bay. .. Goss leads the league in rebounding (10.8), while Burk is second in scoring.
