Chance of showers, storms tonight; Dry, warm over weekend

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight, ahead of a warmer and dry weekend.

The high temperature for today reached 79 degrees in Dayton, 78 in Cincinnati and 77 in Columbus, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Rain chances continue through 11 p.m. Overnight, it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 59 degrees. Patchy fog will be possible after 5 a.m., the NWS said.

Saturday will be partly cloudy and drier throughout the day and overnight, with a high around 79 degrees and a low around 62 degrees.

Sunday will be warmer and breezy, with partly cloudy skies and a high around 83 degrees.

Skies will be a little clearer overnight as temperatures fall to around 62 degrees.
