Cloudy, breezy today; Frost Advisory overnight with temperatures in 30s

There will be a Frost Advisory in effect across the area beginning at midnight tonight and continuing through 10 a.m. Wednesday, issued by the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will cause frost formation that could kill sensitive outdoor plants.

It will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cool today, with a high near 57 degrees, according to the NWS.

Clouds will gradually decrease as the day goes on, before largely clearing in the evening.

Overnight, it will be mostly clear as temperatures fall to down into the 30s, for a low near 37 degrees that will cause patchy frost to form.

Wednesday will start partly cloudy and cold, with the patches of frost clearing by mid-morning. Clouds will build back slowly during the day and overnight.

Highs on Wednesday will be around 60 degrees, and lows will be around 48 degrees.

During the day on Thursday, mostly cloudy skies will become even more overcast as rain chances swiftly rise, especially in the afternoon.

There will be a chance of showers throughout the afternoon, but rain will be likely starting around the evening commute.

Showers are expected to continue throughout the night on Thursday, and even during the day on Friday.

Temperatures on Thursday will reach a high around 64 degrees, falling to around 52 degrees overnight.
