A chance for rain returns overnight and early morning, with a combination of snow, rain-snow mix/rain possible early Wednesday. The Dayton area has about a 33% chance of at least 0.1 inches of snow overnight.
After sunrise, rising temperatures and decreasing precipitation rates will make additional snow less likely, NWS reported. Light precipitation could linger until noon.
Temperatures will reach into the mid and upper 40s.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear as temperatures dip down just below freezing. Lows will be near 31 degrees.
There will be a few clouds on Thursday, though skies will still be mostly sunny. Temperatures will climb a little more to a high around 53 degrees.
Clouds will gradually increase Thursday night as temperatures fall to around 35 degrees.
A return to colder temperatures is possible this weekend. Rain will return Friday night, but could transition into snow overnight and into Saturday morning.
