Clear, cool tonight; Sunny skies expected through the weekend

Dry conditions with at least partly sunny skies will continue for the rest of the workweek and into the weekend.

Today will be pleasant with a high around 82 degrees. It will be mostly clear and cool tonight with the overnight low around 59 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

On Friday, it will be mostly sunny and a little hotter, with a high around 86 degrees.

Clouds will gradually increase in the afternoon for partly cloudy skies overnight. Lows will be around 62 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and hot, with highs around 87 degrees.

Saturday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 63 degrees.

Dry conditions will continue throughout the weekend. The next chance for rain and thunderstorms arrives Sunday night and into Monday. Highs will reach the mid-80s, with overnight lows hitting the low to mid-60s.
