Isolated tornadoes and heavy rain leading to flash flooding may be possible Friday afternoon and evening during widespread showers and thunderstorms that arrive ahead of a cold front. The main threat period is between 3 and 9 p.m., the NWS says.
Highs on Friday will again be well above normal, reaching up to around 79 degrees. Overnight lows are expected around 50 degrees.
After the rainy end to the workweek, the NWS predicted a major cooldown on Saturday, with highs expected near 60 degrees.
There will be breezy winds and skies will gradually clear throughout the day, for mostly clear skies by nightfall.
Remaining clouds will continue to clear overnight, as temperatures fall to a low around 42 degrees.
Skies will be sunny for Sunday with a high near 63 degrees. It will stay clear Sunday night, which will have an overnight low around 44 degrees.
