Today, there will be increasing clouds with a chance of showers and breezy winds in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Gusts will rise to around 26 mph, and high temperatures will be around 55 degrees.

Clouds will mostly clear overnight as temperatures fall below freezing to around 25 degrees.

Thursday will be sunny and mild, with highs around 57 degrees. After night falls, though, clouds will build back up, leading to a chance of rain after midnight that will last through morning.

It will be cool with overnight lows around 45 degrees.

Showers will be likely throughout the day on Friday, with a chance of thunderstorms starting in the early afternoon. The rain will be joined by blustery winds, with gusts as strong as 36 mph.

Highs will be around 64 degrees.

On Friday night, the showers and chance of thunderstorms will continue, though storm chances will fall away after midnight. The NWS predicted that the rain will continue through the night, falling to just a chance of rain after the sun rises on Saturday.

It will still be windy overnight, with sustained winds of 20-30 mph throughout the night.

Low temperatures will be around 43 degrees.

The NWS said that there is a chance for rain on Saturday, but it expects high winds, with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
