Another cool night before midweek warmup

After another cool night tonight, temperatures will begin to rebound to closer to normal highs for the rest of the week.

The high for today only reached 74 degrees in Dayton, 73 in Cincinnati and 69 in Columbus, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

It will be partly cloudy tonight but clouds will clear through the early overnight hours. The low will fall to around 57 degrees.

Wednesday will be sunny and warmer with a high near 81 degrees. Skies stay clear Wednesday night, which will have an overnight low around 57 degrees.

Patchy dense fog is possible before 7 a.m. Thursday but will burn off. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny and even warmer with a high temperature near 84 degrees. The overnight low will be around 58 degrees.

Sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s are expected for Friday and into next week, which is expected to have an extended period of unseasonably high temperatures between 6 and 8 degrees above normal, according to the NWS.
