A warm and humid airmass will remain in place across the Ohio Valley on Monday, while a cold front will push slowly south across the area tonight through Tuesday, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 92 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Heat index values as high as 96 are expected.

The Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency issued an Air Quality Advisory for Butler and Warren counties through midnight.

Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. To help reduce ozone, consider taking the following actions such as carpooling, if possible, biking, walking or taking the bus instead of driving alone. Also, refueling your vehicle after 8 p.m., mow your lawn in the evening hours and avoid the use of gas-powered lawn equipment. It also is recommended to not idle your vehicle as exhaust contributes to air pollution.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with low around 72 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 91 degrees. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m.

A chance for showers and storm continues Tuesday night, mainly before 2 a.m. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 66 degrees.

Wednesday brings mostly sunny skies with a high near 82 degrees. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 65 degrees.

On Thursday, expect sunny skies and high temperatures near 86 degrees. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 67 degrees.
