Mostly sunny with rising temperatures going into weekend

The end of the work week will be mostly sunny and warm, with temperatures climbing into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Today, skies will be sunny with highs around 80 degrees, followed by a mostly clear night with lows around 54 degrees.

On Friday, highs will rise a little more to around 86 degrees. There will be more clouds overnight for partly cloudy skies and a low around 60 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny as temperatures climb to around 89 degrees. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows around 67 degrees.
