Skies will start mostly cloudy, but gradually become sunnier as the day goes on for a mostly clear night.
Temperatures will fall to a low around 29 degrees overnight.
On Thursday there will be a few more clouds, though skies will still be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be a little warmer, with a high around 50 degrees.
Overnight on Thursday, clouds will gradually increase again for mostly cloudy skies in the early hours of Friday morning. Lows will be around 32 degrees.
The NWS predicted Friday will bring a chance of rain starting in the afternoon. Showers will become likely in the evening as snow starts to mix with rain before switching over to mainly snow after dark.
Snow will continue for most of the night. The NWS said it should begin to taper off from the northwest later in the night, though areas to the southeast could see snow continue all the way through the night.

It will be a breezy night as well, with the NWS predicting wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph after midnight.
There is some uncertainty about the timing and amounts of the rain and snow on Friday, but for now the NWS predicted a few inches of snow across the southeast with lesser amounts in the northwest. Near and east of the I-75 corridor could receive several inches of snow.
The weekend will bring unseasonably cold temperatures with single-digit wind chills Saturday morning.
