Temperatures to climb through weekend under mostly sunny skies

Temperatures will climb through this weekend under largely sunny skies and calm, dry conditions, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Today will be sunny and hot, with highs around 86 degrees.

There will be more clouds overnight for partly cloudy skies and a low around 61 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer, with highs reaching up around 89 degrees.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 68 degrees.

On Sunday highs will rise a little more to around 85 degrees under mostly sunny skies, and overnight it will be partly cloudy with lows around 70 degrees.

Hot conditions continue next week, with multiple days where highs could reach 90 degrees.
