Warm, largely sunny today, through midweek

After a mild Labor Day, conditions will be warm and largely sunny through midweek.

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy and cool, with an overnight low around 53 degrees.

Wednesday will be sunny and hot, with a high near 88 degrees.

Skies will be mostly clear Wednesday night, which will have an overnight low around 58 degrees.

Thursday will be sunny and slightly hotter, with a high near 89 degrees. Thursday night will be mostly clear with an overnight low around 63 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 86 degrees. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.
