High temperatures are expected to reach around 80 degrees Wednesday, will be wet with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is expected between one-tenth and one-quarter inch, except for higher amounts possible during thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are in the forecast for Wednesday night, which will have overnight low temperatures around 62 degrees. New rainfall between one-half and three-quarters of an inch are possible, the NWS said.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible after 8 a.m. Thursday with new rainfall amounts between one-half and three-quarters of an inch possible. It will be cooler with highs near 70 degrees. Thursday night showers remain likely, mainly before midnight. Otherwise it will mostly cloudy with overnight lows around 48 degrees. Rainfall between one-tenth and one-quarter inch is possible, according to the NWS.
A dry stretch starts Friday that will last at least through the weekend.
It will be mostly sunny Friday with a high near 62 degrees. Friday night will be mostly clear with a low around 39 degrees.
Sunny skies and highs near 69 are expected for Saturday. Skies stay mostly clear Saturday night with temperatures dropping to a low around 51 degrees.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with a highs rebounding to near 77 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy Sunday night with a low around 57 degrees.
