WPAFB Tuesday Weather: Potential patchy morning fog; highs in the upper 70s


WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Some patchy fog may start the day Tuesday before lots of sunshine emerges.

Temperatures will be comfortably cool in the morning and climb into the upper 70s by afternoon.

Another quiet and somewhat unusually cool night for August is expected tonight.

A few meteors may be visible late as the Perseid meteor shower peak draws near (this weekend).

Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s by Wednesday morning.

Dry weather is expected until Thursday when a pop-up shower or storm will be possible, mainly late in the day.

A few passing showers can’t be ruled out Friday and Saturday as well with temperatures climbing closer to normal, in the lower 80s.
