If all goes as planned, the Biergarten near Fifth Third Field will join the city’s fastest growing entertainment district when it opens in the spring of 2016.Â
Webster Station — a historic district between Fifth Third Field and the Oregon District — is quickly becoming a beer lover's haven.
Â
Some say it — and not the Oregon District — is the leading candidate to become Dayton's designated district that would allow open alcohol containers.
Here is what you'll find in the district.Â

1. Southern Belle
The Belle has earned its reputation as one of the coolest and chillest bars in Dayton with great atmosphere, good cocktails, three rotating beers on tap and another 60 in bottles.
There are also four pool tables, a most excellent vintage bar bowling game, a Playboy pinball machine and a Ms. Pac-Man machine that puts all other local Ms. Pac-Man machines to shame.

2. Dayton Beer Company
Dayton Beer Company is new to the neighborhood, but is already make lots and lots of noise.
Housed in the former Weiler Welding building, Dayton Beer Co's downtown location features 36 taps, a canning line and a 15 -
3. Brixx Ice Company
Â
Opened in 2003, Brixx is the oldest restaurant near Fifth Third Field.Â
Its menu includes everything from burgers and fries to Cajun chicken pasta. There is a lively patio and great views of Fifth Third Field.
There are 14 beers on tap in addition to a slew of bottles and canned options.Â

4. Milano's Tap Room at Fifth Third Field
Situated at the end of the first base concourse, the open-air room features 10 changing craft beers from the region and world.
Milano's Tap Room has high-top tables, three 65-inch televisions and a chalkboard list of beers.

5. Warped Wing Brewing Company

6. The Barrel House

The bar and upscale carryout is the brainchild of maternal first cousins Jeff Heater and Kimberly Collett, the owner of Olive: an urban dive.
It offers 17 rotating beers on tap. It also has taps for red wine, white wine and cider.
Customers are allowed to carry beverages into the restaurant.

7. Riff Raff Tavern on Canal
Live blues, southern rock, rock and roll and country music help draw customers to Riff Raff.
It doesn't hurt that the bar, opened in 2013, has good pub food and a full bar. Try the wings.

Dayton rock is alive and well at Canal Public House.
There is rock, a great patio and beer, beer and more beer at the venue located in Canal Street Tavern's legendary location.

9. Proto BuildBar
eight maker benches and/or grab an adult beverage.
The bar sells $2 Miller Lights and PBRs and features a list of craft beers that includes Rhinegeist, Great Lakes New Belgium and Dale Pale Ale.
 It also serves Guinness, Strongbow Cider, Boston Stoker coffee and espresso and sandwiches and box lunches from Fifth Street Deli in the Oregon District.
