Like it or not, New Year’s Eve is closer than you might think. Why not prepare early?

Learn all about Champagne and its regional variants while enjoying a number of gourmet chocolate-based tapas at El Meson’s “The Chocolate & Champagne Tasting” from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 17.

“With family and friends around, no noise is more festive than the pop of a champagne bottle,” Bill Castro, owner of El Meson said. “This is the perfect opportunity to take an afternoon off from the holiday bustle and enjoy bubble with friends and family.”

Paired with the five varieties of champagne will be five chocolate tapas, thoughtfully curated by El Meson’s chef Marc.

“Champagne is the perfect pairing drink for chocolate, as it really cleanses the palate,” Castro said. “This allows us to feature some really flavorful creative chocolate based tapas such as mole and chocolate and peppers.”

Event cost is $44.94 per person (which includes tax and gratuity) and takes place at El Meson, 903 E. Dixie Drive, West Carrollton. Tickets are available at elmeson.net.
