DVAC's eye-popping, futuristic exhibit

The Dayton Visual Arts Center looks into the future with its new exhibition Digital Abstraction open now through Feb. 27.

The show, featuring futuristic photographs and video installations by 12 artists who use digital technology to make eye popping fine art, was curated by Tom Baggs, Tess Cortés and the late Jud Yalkut.

Digital Abstraction marks the 20th anniversary of Computer Art: An Ohio Perspective exhibited at DVAC. Yalkut and Baggs curated that exhibit.

Digital technology has taken art a long way since computer art. Do they even make dot matrix printers any more??
