New Oakwood coffee shop to give away free coffee for a year

The Saxbys coffee shop coming to Oakwood that we first told you about way back in September 2011 is poised to host its grand opening this Saturday, March 15 and will give away free coffee for a year to the first 10 customers in line on opening day.

The company's Facebook page post about the grand opening invites customers to "become a VIP Coffee member" and suggests that the free coffee is redeemable "only by Saxbys app users."

Other tenants coming to the new Routsong Commercial Center at Irving and Oakwood avenues near the University of Dayton include Firehouse Subs and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.

The business openings and build-outs for the new retailers were delayed as the new businesses grappled with limitations by the city of Oakwood codes regarding start times and seating capacity.
