KFC opens new prototype store on Ohio 741

A new prototype KFC restaurant opened Thursday at 253 N. Springboro Pike (Ohio 741) at Mall Woods Drive north of the Dayton Mall.

Construction and the opening went smoothly under a management team that has a combined 70 years of experience with the fast-food chicken chain, according to Glen Hanson, area coach for KFC.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant seats 63 diners and has a drive-through window.

The new restaurant replaces a KFC that had been located on Ohio 741 at Prestige Plaza Drive across from the Dayton Mall.
