Tech Town lands new engineering tenant

Tech Town, the downtown Dayton business park, is announcing a new tenant.

CH2M, an engineering firm with services in water and waste water, transportation, and environmental sciences, will occupy 8,000 square feet on the first floor of the newest building in the park at 241 Taylor St., announced CityWide Development Corp., the site’s developer and lease manager.

The company will move from its South Main Street offices with about 40 employees, CityWide said.

“We are excited to become part of the growing technology and research business community at Tech Town while still maintaining our city of Dayton address,” Jeffrey Johnson, CH2M biologist and service area staffing manager, said in a statement.

Denver-based CH2M provides architectural, engineering, construction and operations and maintenance services from offices in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland and Indianapolis.

Tech Town is home to almost 50 technology businesses and more than 350 workers, CityWide said.
