CEO of the Chamber, Will Roberts, is optimistic about the changes to the expo including a series of breakout sessions for members only. A networking session for members only is also planned.
With the changes comes a unique opportunity to offer “breakout sessions,” which will vary in subject matter, according to Roberts. These topics will include QuickBooks, the U. S. Department of Labor’s new overtime law, commercial lending, data breaches, prevention and retention, business start-up, growth and recovery, updates to the Affordable Care Act and chamber member benefit updates.
These breakout sessions are open to all chamber members. Sessions are from 3-5 p.m.
From 5-6 p.m., Business Connection Networking returns, allowing local business leaders a chance to network with other business owners.
During the public session of the expo, from 6 to 7:30, the public can meet and network with local business leaders. CASEY LAUGHTER
