New York City’s a little far, but lucky for you, we’ve got a few ball drop celebrations in and around our fair city.
Here are three New Year’s Eve ball drop celebrations.
✨ BALL DROP NYE at Yellow Cab Tavern
Yellow Cab will start its first Ball Drop party at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. DJ “Fab Gear ( Jay Madewell) will play dance music starting at 10 p.m. There will be food trucks and a champagne toast.

✨ NYE at Austin Landing (MOVED INSIDE)
Channel a little bit of the Times Square atmosphere this New Year’s Eve at Austin Landing. Live music from Stranger and Party with a Purpose benefiting The Pink Ribbon Girls. There will be fireworks and a live ball drop. Food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase from food trucks. Free champagne toast for ages 21+. While you're at Austin Landing, don't miss the first NYE Bash at Bar 145 featuring Neon White.

When: Starts at 8 p.m. Dec. 31
Tickets: $15 in advance online; $20 at the door. VIP tickets are $60 each.
✨ Yellow Springs Ball Drop and Little Art Theatre Party
Can't get to New York City for the ball drop this year? Yellow Springs should be a bit more manageable with its annual ball-drop celebration in front of the Little Art.
The Little Art promises the best seats for the event, along with music from Devil's Backbone and a special showing of the 2008 film “Mamma Mia!” starring Meryl Streep.
Admission to the Little Art party is $25 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres. NYE Punch, craft beer, wine and other spirits will be sold.
