‘A CHRISTMAS STORY’ TRIVIA
When: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6
Where: The Wandering Griffin, 3725 Presidential Dr., Beavercreek
What to expect: Three rounds of trivia about the 1980s movie set in the 1940s. A $10 prize will be given to the winner of each round. There is a $25 grand prize, plus best costume contest for individuals and teams.

‘A CHRISTMAS STORY’ ON THE BIG SCREEN
When: 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7; 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10; 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 and 7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 21.
Where: The Plaza Theatre, 33 S. Main St., Miamisburg
What to expect: What says Christmastime louder than watching Flick get his tongue struck to a frozen pole on the big screen.

‘A CHRISTMAS STORY’ THE PLAY
When: Dec. 12 to 17. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday.
Where: Victoria Theatre, 138 N. Main St. in downtown Dayton
What to expect: The entirety of 9-year-old Ralphie Parker's epic quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas is staged during the production, including his dad's major award.
