Centerville firm to move to Miamisburg, expand under new plan

A Centerville business plans to move to Miamisburg, where it would build a new site and bring 40 jobs to the city, under a tax credit proposal.

Buckeye EcoCare would build a facility in Byers Business Park and move from its South Metro Parkway site, according to Miamisburg records. The company specializes in lawn care services.

That city is offering 30-percent, five-year job creation tax credit for the move, which would result in a 30,000 square foot site on land Buckeye would buy, Miamisburg records show.

“The current Centerville location serves as the company’s headquarters as well as the service location for their south Dayton and Cincinnati customers,” Miamisburg records show.

“Steady growth over the last 20 years has caused Buckeye EcoCare to look for a larger facility to fit their future growth needs,” a memo from Miamisburg Development Director Chris Fine states.

Miamisburg City Council will consider the issue Tuesday night.
