The only other Ohio bar to make the most recent “top 75” list was Japp’s in Cincinnati, according to a release from Four Roses Bourbon. The Bourbon Review in collaborating with Four Roses for a nationwide “toast” to each of the 75 establishments selected.
As part of National Bourbon Heritage Month, the nationwide “toast” will take place on Sept. 30, when The Bourbon Review and Four Roses Bourbon will encourage fans to take part by tagging their favorite bourbon bar from the list using the hashtag “#75Toast.”
“It’s great to see bourbon become a nationwide phenomenon and we owe a lot of the new interest to those bars that are proud to serve it or even build their entire theme around it,” Justin Thompson of The Bourbon Review said in the Four Roses release. “We’re very excited to expand our list to 75 deserving bars that take their selection, employee education and customer experience of tasting bourbon to the highest level.”
