A Centerville man has been charged with public indecency and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

John C. Petry, 34, was arrested Aug. 1 stemming from an July 18 incident where, according to a complaint filed with Kettering Municipal Court, he “knowingly” engaged in a sex act in the presence of a minor.

Centerville police officer John Davis said the department would not release any additional information surrounding the events.

Petry has an arraignment hearing scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Kettering Municipal Court.
