A special prosecutor was appointed in the case at the county- court level, where it was originally filed.
He also appeared for a bond hearing last month in common pleas court, but the bond was unchanged.
The case was among those on a list issued Monday by the county prosecutor’s office.
Jones is now being held without bond, pending his arraignment on Wednesday in the common pleas court.
