A Logan County woman has been charged with domestic violence after deputies say she assaulted a 3-year-old boy.

Danielle Foreman, 27, of Bellefontaine was arrested on Friday. According to a report from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the boy’s grandmother called deputies to report he had been slapped.

Foreman was watching the child when she became angry with him, according to the incident report, held him down on the bed “and slapped him several times in the face.”

This caused the child’s nose to bleed, according to the report. A deputy observed dried blood on the boy’s nose and asked the him how many times he had been hit. He held up three fingers.

Foreman told deputies her daughters had slapped the boy, according to the report, but her 8-year-old daughter insisted Foreman had done it.

The report was forwarded to Logan County Children’s Services for review. Foreman was no longer listed in the Logan County Jail as of Monday evening.
