The Subway was open for business at the time of the robbery.
INITIAL REPORT
Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Subway on West Main Street this morning.
According to officials, a black male wearing a mask, a grey or black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black or grey backpack entered the restaurant armed with a handgun or small shotgun and demanded cash.
The robbery was reported around 9:40 a.m. and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to reports.
