Troy police find infant during prostitution bust

Two women remain in the Miami County Jail after police found a baby in a motel room during an alleged prostitution bust.

MacKenzie Leonard, 24, of Piqua, and Mary Dulen, 29, of St. Paris, were both taken into custody at a motel room in Troy on Friday and were arraigned in Miami County court on Monday.

The duo is facing a variety of drug offenses, solicitation charges and child endangering.

Police discovered the infant in the motel room when they arrived on the scene.

“We are not going to tolerate this kind of activity in Troy,” said Troy Police Capt. Jeff Kunkleman.
