At Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, you can expect the workers to serve you up the quintessential summer treat. Scooped and served in bowls and waffles cones, the dairy’s ice cream is homemade and worthy of any sweet-tooth craving.

Ben Young, co-owner of Young's Dairy, sat down and shared his current favorite flavors with the Dayton Daily News. Here are the top five flavors to try this summer:

Young’s Jersey Dairy is located at 6880 Springfield Xenia Road. Young said the peak season for the business runs from April to August, and they will host several special events for the summer season. The ice cream flavor of the week? A zesty Lemon Custard.
