How to score half-price deal for these sandwiches

We checked with Ted Tolliver, the franchise owner of the three Dayton-area Jersey Mike’s sub shops, and Tolliver confirmed that his local restaurants are indeed participating in the promotion.

Tolliver oversees Jersey Mike’s locations at 1512 Miamisburg-Centerville Road (Ohio 725) east of the Dayton Mall, 6002 Far Hills Ave. in Centerville, and 3510 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek.

Here’s how to take advantage of the promotion:

1. Set up an online ordering account through Jersey Mike's web site or app.

2. Place an online order for a sliced or grilled sub — or anything on the menu.

3. Use the promo code 50FIRST.

First-time online customers will receive their 50-percent-off offer automatically. For subsequent orders, there is no need to reenter the promo code each time — the Jersey Mike’s system will automatically include the discount, the restaurant chain said in a news release.

Jersey Mike’s will also reward current online customers with 25 percent off any online purchases during the promotional period.

Jersey Mike’s says it has 1,500 restaurants open or under development nationwide. The company placed No. 5 in the 25 Best Fast-Food Chains in America (2016) ranking by Business Insider and Restaurant Business.
