4 injured after Troy rollover crash on I-75

Four people were transported to Upper Valley Medical Center after a rollover crash involving two vehicles on Interstate 75 north of Troy this evening.

At about 7:30 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to I-75 near mile marker 77 in Troy for a two-vehicle wreck with multiple injuries.

Dispatchers reported that one person was trapped in their vehicle and at least two people were lying on the side of the roadway.

A CareFlight helicopter was dispatched to the scene, where heavy damage was reported to the vehicles involved.

Initial investigation from the State Highway Patrol shows that the collision might be the cause of an improper lane change which caused the two vehicles to veer off the roadway and down an embankment.

At least one of the vehicles rolled multiple times after it went off the roadway.

Four people were transported from the crash to nearby Upper Valley Medical Center. One male passenger was then taken by CareFlight from UVMC to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

The identities and conditions of the victims have not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
