AAA seeks to keep Dayton office downtown as it moves jobs to Moraine

An automobile agency with about 228,000 Miami Valley members wants to sell its downtown Dayton main office by next spring, when it plans to move a division to Moraine.

While AAA has outgrown its 825 S. Ludlow site of more than 50 years, the preference is to keep its area headquarters somewhere downtown, where it has had a presence for nearly 100 years, according to the agency.

It plans to move its fleet operation – which has 46 of its 79 main office employees — to Moraine.

In selling the Ludlow site, which it has had on the market since June, “right now our search is focused on downtown Dayton” for a new main office, according to Cindy Antrican, AAA Allied Group public affairs manager.
