Crawford case unresolved two years later

Two years after John Crawford III was killed during a police shooting at Beavercreek’s Walmart, the investigation into the incident remains “ongoing.”

Crawford, a 22-year-old Fairfield native, was shot by an officer after a 911 caller said that a black man was waving a rifle at people, including children.

Red Robin in Beavercreek to be closed 4-6 weeks

A fire shut down the Beavercreek Red Robin for over a month. The flames, smoke and water caused extensive damage to the restaurant.

Beavercreek mall welcomes new fashion shop

An apparel and accessories store targeted to younger females, Vanity, is set to open at The Mall at Fairfield Commons.

The store, which will be located between Cinnabon and Ashcroft & Oak, will offer affordable clothing options.

Streets levy passes in Beavercreek

“I want to thank the voters for having faith in the road department that we provided a good service for their dollar,” said Beavercreek Mayor Bob Stone.

The additional funds will be used to maintain the current level of service for signs, traffic signals and road maintenance and resurfacing.
