The car fire was reported around 9:15 p.m. on I-70 at mile marker 25, not far from Salem Avenue in Clayton.

There were no injuries reported, and the car fire was quickly extinguished, with only the left lane shut down by 9:30 p.m.
It’s not clear how the fire started.
