Former Riverside city manager hired in Connecticut

Bryan Chodkowski, former city manager of Riverside, was hired Monday night as manager of Enfield, Conn., according to the Hartford Courant.

In January, Chodkowski resigned after nine years as manager of Riverside. He submitted his resignation, effective immediately, on Jan. 21, and the council accepted it the same day.

Chodkowski said he resigned after the council met to discuss his future. Mayor Bill Flaute declined to comment on Chodkowski’s resignation.

“I would definitely like to continue to serve in the area,” Chodkowski, who previously managed two small Michigan communities, said at the time.

James Percival was named interim manager in Riverside, while the council searches for Chodkowski’s replacement.
