Free bulk trash pickup available

VANDALIA — Rumpke is offering pickup for extra-large trash items for free. Homeowners must call Rumpke at 937-461-0004, to advise what items will need removing.

Rumpke clarifies that any upholstered items need to be wrapped in plastic before being placed at curb.

The city also offers bulk drop-offs at the City Garage, 97 Clubhouse Way, on the second Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. These bulk drop-offs are limited to limbs, brush, and large construction materials.

Also, with proof of residency, Vandalia residents can drop off any yard waste free of charge at BR Mulch at 620 Ginghamsburg Road during their regular hours.
