Manhunt was underway following pursuit into Preble County

Law enforcement in Preble County were looking for a suspect today described as armed and dangerous.

The incident started in Richmond, Indiana, and involved a pursuit that went into the New Paris area of Preble County. Authorities in both jurisdictions would not say what led to the chase. According to police radio traffic, they were seeking a man and woman; the man was to be considered armed and dangerous.

At one point, a helicopter from Butler County joined the manhunt, but it was not clear whether anyone was found.
