Historical society receives grant

The Randolph Township Historical Society was recently approved to receive a $32,000 Montgomery County Solid Waste District Recycling Incentive reimbursement grant.

The grant will be used towards the historical society’s purchase and installation of recycled aluminum roofing, gutters, fascia, soffit and downspouts at the society’s History Center, 114 Valleyview Drive in Englewood, according to Sue Cummings, society treasurer.

Total cost of this project is approximately $47,000.

The society will seek donations from its members and the community to raise approximately $15,000 in funds.
