1. Missing Miamisburg teen found in Florida

Sam Estep, a high school student from Miamisburg, disappeared after driving his parent’s car to school. Days later, he was found alive and safe in West Palm Beach, Florida.

2. Ron's Pizza the originator of Dayton's 'pizza wars'

Ron Holp, owner of Ron’s Pizza in Miamisburg, was one of the first to initiate Dayton’s “pizza wars.”

Ron Holp, the proprietor of Ron’s Pizza and Ribs, has been making pizza for 42 years. He started Dayton’s first “Pizza War” when he left Cassano’s to start his own pizza place On St. Patrick’s Day, 1964, he and his late wife Abbie opened Ron’s Pizza on North 12th Street in Miamisburg. 5. New restaurant & jazz club in Miamisburg already expanding

The Blue Note Bistro & Lounge expanded its music offering to 7 nights a week shortly after opening its doors.
