The open house will include free flu vaccinations, while supplies last, a tour of the ER center, physician and staff meet-and-greet, activities for children, refreshments and snacks, giveaways and raffle prizes, pet therapy, and more. Free parking and shuttle service is also available
The ER center will feature 12 emergency beds, including two trauma bays, and it will be staffed by board certified emergency medicine physicians from Miami Valley Hospital.
"We are pleased to offer emergency care to Miamisburg and surrounding communities, and to expand access to Miami Valley Hospital the region's only Level I Trauma Center," said Mike Maiberger, president of Miami Valley Hospital and executive vice president and chief operating office of Premier Health.
"Increasing access to emergency and preventative care is very much in line with our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve," he said.
