Report: Child finds loaded handgun in bush outside elementary school

A child found a loaded gun in a bush outside a Richmond elementary school Sunday afternoon, according to our partners with Kicks96.

According to police reports, the child found a Glock handgun with a round in the chamber on the east side of Vaile Elementary School. The child picked up the weapon and flagged down a police officer to hand over the gun.
