Some rain and mild this week

A few lingering showers are expected Sunday overnight. Wintry weather will not be an issue as temperatures will hold in the mid 40s throughout the night.

Monday morning will bring increasing winds which will help to dry roads. Sun and clouds are in store for Monday, but it won't be as warm with temperatures in the low to mid 40s. It will be windy at times for Monday with sustained winds between 15-25mph and gusts as high as 40mph.

High pressure ridges in for Tuesday will result in mostly sunny skies. It will be less breezy and still above normal near 40 degrees.

More clouds arrive for Wednesday, but will be generally partly sunny. The temperatures will stay in the lower to mid 40s Wednesday and Thursday.

The next chance for precipitation arrives Thursday evening with a chance for rain or snow.

A better chance for snow showers is expected for Friday with a cold front. Not much accumulation is expected. Cooler temperatures are expected, but it will be seasonable in the upper 30s.
