The Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union donated 50 carbon monoxide detectors to the Butler Township Fire Department.

The donation is a part of 360 detectors being donated to seven local fire departments in Dayton, Kettering, Trotwood, Huber Heights, Butler Township, Sugarcreek Township, and Troy.

This is the second year that the Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union has donated the detectors to the communities they serve. Over the two years, the credit union has donated 681 carbon monoxide detectors.

Any township resident that would like a carbon monoxide detector can call the fire department at 937-890-2491.
