TROTWOOD -- The City Council voted Monday night to extend the city's moratorium on medical marijuana for another six months.

Mayor Mary McDonald said, "we believe our community needs an opportunity to have input on this."

She said she has fielded concerns about heroin and other drugs surrounding the issue of having marijuana in the community.

"We want to be responsible in how we handle" deciding the issue, she said.
