A truck driver who witnessed the crash said O’Shea was driving the wrong-way on the highway with no headlights before he crashed head-on into a semi, however troopers said it was too early to make that determination.
“I didn’t see no headlights or anything,” said Jacob Cartwright, who witnessed the crash. “All I saw was…the taillights of the semi just go flying across the road into a ditch.”
Troopers said O’Shea also side-swiped another vehicle before hitting the semi.
Troopers are working to identify where O’Shea entered the highway driving the wrong way.
