Yellow Springs alumni, author returns for discussion on novel, film

YELLOW SPRINGS — Yellow Springs alumni and New York Times bestselling author Chris Tebbetts is returning to his hometown on March 9 to share experience and knowledge.

Tebbetts will be at the Little Art Theatre, 247 Xenia Ave., for a champagne reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by a presentation and Q&A session at 7:30 p.m. with a screening of the film Middle School to follow, which is based on his novel.

Tebbetts worked with author James Patterson to write his novel, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life.

On Sunday, March 12, there will also be a $5 matinee showing if Middle School, also at the Little Art Theatre, at 4 p.m. A book signing with Tebbetts, hosted by Dark Star Cooks and Comics, will being at 3 p.m. before the showing.
